SCYNEXIS names Sanjay Subramanian chief financial officer
SCYX•SCYNEXIS appointed Sanjay S. Subramanian chief financial officer effective September 9, 2026, succeeding Ivor Macleod, who retired that day. The company also named Todd Minga senior vice president of research and development and appointed Steven K. Burke to its board.
1. Leadership changes
Subramanian, previously Inozyme Pharma’s CFO and head of business development, succeeded Macleod, who stayed through October 9 to support the transition. Minga, a nephrologist with more than two decades of kidney-disease research experience, became senior vice president of research and development effective September 14.
2. Board appointment
Burke joined SCYNEXIS’s board effective September 18 and serves on its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. He previously served as Akebia Therapeutics’ senior vice president, chief research and development officer and chief medical officer.
