SEALSQ to Unveil QS7001 SoC and VaultIC Elements at Japanese March Forums
SEALSQ will showcase its QS7001 secure SoC, QVault TPM and VaultIC elements at the Connectivity Standards Alliance meeting in Yokohama (March 16–19) and Wi-SUN Open House in Tokyo (March 27) ahead of Japan’s 2035 PQC mandate. Partnerships with Okaya Electronics and Landis+Gyr drove smart-lock and smart-meter security deployments in Japan.

SEALSQ will attend the Connectivity Standards Alliance meeting in Yokohama from March 16–19 and the Wi-SUN Open House in Tokyo on March 27. The company plans to demonstrate its QS7001 secure SoC, QVault TPM and VaultIC secure elements for IoT, highlighting hardware-anchored post-quantum encryption solutions.
2. Alignment with Japan's PQC Mandate
Japan’s National Cyber Command Office targets full post-quantum cryptography adoption by 2035, following NIST guidelines and hybrid cryptographic strategies to counter future decryption threats. SEALSQ’s production-ready offerings are positioned to support seamless migration of government and critical infrastructure systems.
3. Strategic Partnerships and Deployments
The distribution agreement with Okaya Electronics has accelerated deployments of SEALSQ’s VaultIC292 in MIWA and Hosiden Matter-compatible smart locks. A separate collaboration with Landis+Gyr integrates SEALSQ’s INeS PKI tool into smart meters, ensuring compliance with regional standards and enhancing energy management security.
4. Private Gathering at Suzuka Grand Prix
SEALSQ will host select customers and partners at the Suzuka Japanese Grand Prix (March 27–29) to celebrate its market gains. This event coincides with its ongoing partnership as the official quantum technology provider for the BWT Alpine Formula One Racing Team, exploring quantum-secure applications in high-performance environments.
