1. Early $14.1m Cash Receipt Boosts Liquidity

Seeing Machines Ltd will receive approximately $14.1 million in cash this month following a renegotiation of its long-running royalty agreement with a major automotive customer. Under the revised terms, the lump-sum payment replaces royalties that were previously scheduled to be paid in quarterly installments over the next four years, accelerating revenue recognition and improving near-term cash flow. Management expects the prepayment to strengthen the balance sheet, fund continued R&D investment in in-cabins sensing and support working capital requirements for its expanding automotive programs, including its largest production win to date.

2. Unveiling 3D Cabin Perception Mapping at CES2026

At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Seeing Machines will launch its next-generation 3D Cabin Perception Mapping solution, showcasing high-fidelity interior sensing that continuously monitors occupant presence, position and behaviour in real time. The live in-vehicle demonstrations will highlight integration with exterior sensor systems to deliver a holistic view of both cabin and road environments, bolstering safety and automated driving capabilities. The company will also present its latest Driver and Occupant Monitoring System via an integrated rear-view mirror platform—already in production as part of its largest automotive program—and host co-development sessions with partners including Valeo, Magna, QNX and Texas Instruments, underscoring its strategic focus on scaling supervised autonomy solutions.
