Serve Robotics Unveils Moving Canvas Program with Five Artists in Four Cities
SERV•Serve Robotics launched Moving Canvas, commissioning five artists in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami to transform its sidewalk delivery robots into public art, with first pieces debuting at Cannes Lions. The program builds on Serve’s 2,000+ deployed robots footprint and underscores community engagement in key markets.
1. Moving Canvas Launch
Serve Robotics introduced Moving Canvas on June 22, commissioning five local artists to redesign sidewalk delivery robots in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami, with initial pieces debuting at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
2. Artists and Cities
The selected artists—George F Baker III in Atlanta, Emmy Star Brown and Kate Lewis in Chicago, Sküt in Los Angeles and Nicole Holderbaum in Miami—were paid commissions and credited on their custom robot designs.
3. Strategic Community Engagement
Serve plans to leverage its 2,000+ robot network and community partnerships to strengthen brand visibility and foster local engagement, with an eye toward expanding artist collaborations beyond the inaugural four markets.
