Shipping at Sea of Azov, major Russian grain trade route, still restricted, sources say
DBA•Sea of Azov shipping remains restricted
MOSCOW, July 13 - Shipping at the Sea of Azov, the route for a quarter of Russian wheat exports, remained restricted on Monday for security reasons, following Ukrainian attacks on tankers in the area, three sources told Reuters.
One source said that commercial vessels could move freely in the Sea of Azov but could not enter or leave the sea through the Kerch Strait and Azov-Don channel, a navigable waterway linking the Don River with the Sea of Azov.
