The consolidated campus brings together the operations of three former Tennessee plants under one roof, streamlining workflows and improving logistical efficiency.

2. Investment and Capacity Expansion

The project is supported by a $30 million initial investment, with a total commitment of up to $80 million over the next five years. This capital infusion will enhance production lines, introduce advanced automation systems and accelerate output of electrical infrastructure components.

3. Strengthening U.S. Supply Chain

By localizing manufacturing for solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and data center power solutions, Shoals aims to reduce reliance on overseas suppliers and shorten delivery timelines. The facility’s increased capacity is designed to meet rising domestic demand for resilient, mission-critical power infrastructure.

4. 30th Anniversary and Community Support

The opening coincides with Shoals’ 30th anniversary, commemorated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a $20,000 donation to Hands of Hope. This contribution will fund meals for families across Portland and Sumner County, underscoring Shoals’ commitment to its local community.
