Shoals Technologies Group has entered into a collaboration with ON.energy to deliver multiple gigawatts of critical power systems tailored for AI and cloud computing data centers. This aligns Shoals’ electrical balance-of-system expertise with rising demand for reliable, scalable power solutions in the AI infrastructure segment.

2. Campus Expansion in Portland

To support increased production, Shoals is expanding into a 638,000-square-foot manufacturing campus in Portland. This facility upgrade is designed to scale output of cable assemblies, combiners and disconnects to meet growing orders from utility-scale solar and data center projects.

3. Record Backlog and Q4 Performance

The company closed 2025 with a record $747.6 million backlog and awarded orders, delivering a fourth quarter revenue of $148.3 million, up 39% year-over-year. Gross profit rose to $46.9 million and net income climbed to $8.1 million from $7.8 million in the prior-year period.

4. Product Offering and Market Position

Shoals specializes in electrical balance-of-system solutions for solar and battery storage, including cable assemblies, combiners and rapid-shutdown disconnects. Its products enhance installation efficiency and reliability, positioning the company to capture share in both utility-scale solar and emerging AI data center markets.
