Operating income rose 53% compared to the same period last year, and the company delivered its ninth consecutive quarter of double-digit free cash flow margins, registering an 18% FCF margin. During the 2025 Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend, merchants on Shopify’s platform generated a record $14.6 billion in sales, a 27% increase from the prior year, underscoring the strength of its merchant base and platform stickiness.

Shopify’s Winter 2026 Edition rollout introduced over 150 new features, with a strong focus on AI-driven tools such as the Sidekick intelligent assistant, AI Store Builder and agentic storefronts that facilitate sales within conversational AI environments.
