Skillsoft appointed Matthew J. Cushing as chief legal officer, effective Monday, Aug. 3; he will report to CEO Ron Hovsepian.
Cushing previously held executive roles at Pegasystems, including chief legal officer and chief commercial officer, during its shift to cloud subscriptions.
He succeeds interim chief legal officer Scott Semel, completing the planned transition to permanent leadership of the legal function.
