SLB, Equinor sign multi-year reservoir stimulation services deal for Norwegian shelf
SLB•Vessel upgrade for offshore treatments
MV Island Captain will be upgraded into a fully proppant-capable stimulation vessel with higher pumping capacity.
Post-upgrade, the vessel is expected to carry up to 2,000,000 pounds of proppant for high-intensity offshore treatments.
Multi-year reservoir stimulation agreement
SLB signed a multi-year agreement with Equinor for advanced reservoir stimulation services across Norway’s continental shelf.
The deal secures dedicated offshore stimulation capacity to support development of tight reservoirs.
