Snow Lake Completes Acquisition, Adds U.S. Pine Ridge Project and SMR Exposure
Snow Lake acquired Global Uranium and Enrichment Limited, consolidating U.S. uranium exploration and development projects at Pine Ridge (Wyoming) and Tallahassee (Colorado) and taking a cornerstone stake in enrichment‐tech developer Ubaryon. The deal also secures strategic SMR exposure through Kadmos Energy, advancing Snow Lake’s nuclear fuel cycle ambitions.
1. Acquisition Completion
Snow Lake successfully closed the acquisition of Global Uranium and Enrichment Limited, bringing all GUE shareholders into its register. The transaction expands Snow Lake’s asset base and aligns with its goal to build an integrated nuclear fuel cycle business.
2. Uranium Project Portfolio
The deal consolidates substantial mineral resources in the Pine Ridge project in Wyoming and the Tallahassee project in Colorado. Both sites offer significant exploration upside and position Snow Lake to accelerate development of uranium mining and milling operations.
3. Enrichment and SMR Investments
Snow Lake gained a cornerstone shareholding in Ubaryon, a developer of next-generation uranium enrichment technology, and strategic exposure to small modular reactor deployment through Kadmos Energy. These investments broaden the company’s capabilities beyond raw uranium extraction.
4. 2026 Strategic Initiatives
Over the coming year, Snow Lake will advance multiple U.S. exploration and development projects, support Ubaryon’s enrichment technology progress, assist Kadmos Energy with SMR deployments, and evaluate further nuclear fuel cycle expansion opportunities.
