Nan Shen named chief financial officer

So-Young appointed Nan Shen as chief financial officer, effective Aug. 3, 2026; her remit covers finance, human resources, legal and compliance.

Shen has served on So-Young’s board since October 2023; she stepped down from the audit, compensation and nominating committees.

She was CFO of Gaotu Techedu from December 2018 to May 2026; she also served as senior vice president from October 2023 to May 2026.

Earlier roles include CFO of China Sinoedu’s VIE at Shandong Yingcai University; assurance manager at PwC; and investment manager at Dalian Port & Shipping Industry Fund.
