SoFi Tech Solutions, Orbi, Mastercard partner on crypto-linked card launch in Mexico
SOFI•SoFi Technologies’ SoFi Tech Solutions partnered with Orbi and Mastercard to launch a crypto-linked card program in Mexico. Customers can spend from crypto balances through point-of-sale conversion, while merchants receive fiat currency.
1. Card program details
SoFi Tech Solutions will provide Mastercard BIN sponsorship in Mexico, issuer processing, transaction authorization and compliance infrastructure for the program. The partnership also sets up future stablecoin-based remittances and payments using SoFiUSD on Mastercard’s network.
