SoftBank Completes $41B OpenAI Investment, Acquires DigitalBridge for $4B
SoftBank completed its second tranche of a $41 billion investment in OpenAI, boosting its stake to around 11% with $30 billion from its Vision Fund and $11 billion from co-investors. The group agreed to buy US data-center investor DigitalBridge for $4 billion and is co-leading the $500 billion Stargate AI infrastructure project with Oracle.
