Solidion introduced the patented bipolar electrode-to-pack (BEEP) solid-state battery pack, assembled by stacking bipolar electrodes and solid electrolyte layers in series and parallel. CEO Jaymes Winters described it as a fundamental rethinking that removes redundant housings, connectors and fire mitigation systems, creating lighter, smaller and safer batteries.

The company claims AI-assisted design optimizes electrode stacking to boost power density and slash production costs by eliminating excess materials. This unveiling follows several recent patents and designs targeting unmanned defense systems, electric vehicles and space infrastructure applications.
