Soluna Restores 50MW Dorothy 1 Capacity, Commissions Kati 1 First Phase
Soluna expanded Dorothy 1 capacity by 6MW with Blockware, upgraded a 20MW fleet and received miners for an 11MW Canaan deployment, restoring 50MW full capacity. The 24MW first phase of the 83MW Project Kati 1 achieved commission, with two 12MW phases on track for March completion.
1. Project Dorothy 1 Expansion
Soluna completed a 6MW expansion for Blockware at Project Dorothy 1 and upgraded a 20MW fleet at site 1A. The company also received the remaining miners for an 11MW Canaan deployment, returning the 50MW facility to full operational capacity with minimal curtailment.
2. Dorothy 2 and Sophie Operations
Operations at Project Dorothy 2 (48MW hosting) and Project Sophie (25MW hosting) remained at full capacity with minimal curtailment throughout February, reflecting stable customer deployments and ongoing performance.
3. Project Kati 1 Commissioning Progress
The first 24MW phase of Project Kati 1 reached substantial completion and has entered steady-state operations. Phases 2 and 3, each 12MW, are ahead of schedule for March commissioning, while the 35MW K1B container phase is set to begin installation once equipment arrives.
4. Development Pipeline and Kati 2 Design
Soluna advanced Project Kati 2 design to 30% schematic level for a planned 100MW initial phase, issuing a new RFP for design services and initiating procurement of long-lead power equipment. The company is negotiating Master Service Agreements for 350MW of critical IT capacity and finalizing PPAs and land agreements for Projects Rosa, Ellen, Hedy, and Annie.
