Sono-Tek received a purchase order worth over USD 3.6 million for a single integrated production line for medical diagnostic devices.
It said this is the largest order in the company’s history for one integrated line; some prior orders were larger in total value but covered multiple independent systems.
The order came from an existing customer scaling a validated coating process from development into high-volume manufacturing.
The system combines ultrasonic coating with automation, and shipment is expected in fiscal 2028.
