Sonoco Products Company achieved the highest overall and innovation rankings on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies list, placed third in the Packaging category and secured second-place positions for corporate asset utilization, financial soundness, long-term investment and global competitiveness.
2. America’s Most Responsible Companies Inclusion
The company also earned a spot on Newsweek’s America’s Most Responsible Companies list, reflecting its strong performance across environmental, social and corporate governance pillars and reinforcing its sustainability credentials.
3. Institutional Stake Increase
Advisors Asset Management Inc. boosted its position in Sonoco by acquiring 17,165 additional shares during the third quarter, raising its total holding to 46,590 shares, a 58.3% increase in its stake.
