Vizsla Silver has appointed Guillermo Hernandez as Vice President of Exploration and elevated Jesus Velador from VP of Exploration to Chief Geologist. These leadership changes take effect immediately and aim to strengthen the technical team driving the Panuco silver-gold project in Sinaloa, Mexico.
2. Hernandez's Expertise
Guillermo Hernandez brings 20 years of mineral exploration experience across Latin America and Asia, having delivered Outcrop Silver’s maiden NI 43-101 resource at Santa Ana and contributed to adding 1.2 Moz gold at Lundin Gold’s Fruta del Norte. He previously led discovery and development programs at Luca Mining and Gold Resource Corp., with a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering and M.Sc. in Geochemistry from UNAM.

With Velador advancing feasibility outcomes toward development readiness and Hernandez overseeing district-scale exploration, the company aims to unlock additional high-grade targets across the Panuco district.
