SOPHiA Genetics, Myriad team up to advance prostate cancer genomic instability score technology
SOPH•SOPHiA Genetics and Myriad are collaborating to develop a prostate cancer genomic instability score for AstraZeneca precision oncology trials. Myriad’s MyChoice CDx test will generate the score, and SOPHiA Genetics plans to integrate it into its Extended Homologous Recombination Solution.
1. Developing the score
The collaboration will advance PrGIS, an HRD-related biomarker signature, for use in clinical trials and potential companion diagnostics. SOPHiA Genetics will integrate PrGIS into its Extended Homologous Recombination Solution to support decentralized testing across its global lab network, while Myriad is developing the score using its MyChoice CDx test and adding prostate cancer as a new indication. Myriad plans to present PrGIS research co-authored with AstraZeneca at the ESMO Congress 2026, pending embargo.
