SOS•SOS reported revenue of $48.83 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, down 45.5%, and a GAAP net loss of $34.5 million. Cash and cash equivalents rose to about $231.9 million, largely reflecting a $228 million prepayment refund recorded as operating inflow.
1. Revenue and loss
SOS management commentary reported that revenue fell 45.5% to $48.83 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, while the GAAP net loss widened to $34.5 million. Management attributed the revenue decline mainly to weaker commodities trading demand in China, fewer orders and lower average selling prices.
2. Hosting and cash
Hosting services revenue dropped to $950,000 from $3.85 million as low Bitcoin prices reduced demand and SOS scaled back operations. Gross margin worsened to -7.5% as management lowered trading margins to retain customers and protect market share. Cash and cash equivalents rose to about $231.9 million, largely reflecting a $228 million prepayment refund recorded as operating inflow.
