Standard Nuclear partners with SHINE Technologies to develop fuel from recycled nuclear material

The project was selected for approximately $7 million in funding under the U.S. Department of Energy's ARPA-E HORNIG program. The fuel aims to provide an alternative to high-assay low-enriched uranium while reducing commercial spent fuel stockpiles.
