- StandardAero won a GE Aerospace agreement to build, maintain, and overhaul CT7-2E1 engines for the UK MOD’s New Medium Helicopter fleet.
- Work will run from the Gosport facility, covering the UK fleet’s engines and future export engines assembled in the UK.
- The CT7-2E1 will power 23 Leonardo AW149 helicopters, covering 46 engines plus spares and long-term support, with deliveries slated for 2030-2033.
