In the Chicago market, Starbucks has finished renovations at 90 of the planned 200 locations and is on track to meet the September deadline. Earlier phases included over 200 upgrades in New York and Southern California, with work now accelerating in Chicago neighborhoods and suburbs.
3. Uplifted Old Irving Park Store Features
The newly refreshed 4155 N. Cicero Ave store showcases leather sofas, cushy lounge chairs, throw rugs, drapes and neighborhood-inspired art. Design elements like warmer colors, custom local photography and coffee-themed decor are intended to encourage customers to stay longer and enhance the coffeehouse vibe.
