Stardust Power signs non-binding lithium supply deal with Charge CCCV

Aug 5 (Reuters) - Stardust Power SDST.O said on Wednesday it signed a non-binding letter of intent with Charge CCCV to supply battery-grade material from its planned lithium refinery in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

• Stardust expects to sell 3,000 metric tons of lithium carbonate in 2028, 10,000 metric tons in 2029 and 20,000 metric tons in 2030 to the battery technology company.
• The deal comes as the U.S. races to secure domestic sources of lithium, a critical component for electric vehicle batteries, amid growing concerns over reliance on imports from China and other countries.
• Stardust in 2025 had revealed it had entered into a non-binding arrangement with Sumitomo Corporation of Americas to sell up to 25,000 metric tons of lithium annually for 10 years, with a possible five-year extension.
• The refiner said the agreements, if finalized, could cover a large share of its planned lithium production and could generate billions of dollars in sales if lithium prices remain at current levels.
