1. Dodge Unveils Limited-Run Purple Haze Charger Color
Dodge has introduced Purple Haze, a first-ever exterior color for the 2027 Charger lineup, priced at a $795 option. Engineered with a high-gloss clearcoat that shifts hue in sunlight, the new shade debuts on a 550-horsepower Sixpack Scat Pack at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals from July 10-12.
2. Stellantis Partners with Wayve and Uber on Level 4 Robotaxi Trials
Stellantis signed an agreement with Wayve and Uber to explore deployment of Level 4 robotaxis globally using Wayve’s end-to-end deep learning autonomy platform. The partnership aims to pilot autonomous ride-hailing services and advance supervised autonomy software for consumer vehicles by 2027.
3. Jeep to Expand European Lineup to Six Models by 2030
Jeep plans to broaden its European portfolio from two to six models by 2030, including a new D-segment SUV developed and built with Dongfeng in China. The strategy also encompasses two additional compact SUVs and multiple electrified powertrain options, with the Recon electric off-roader slated for early 2027 launch.
