Stereolabs and Trossen partner on robot-learning platforms
Ouster subsidiary Stereolabs partnered with Trossen Robotics to integrate ZED X Mini and ZED X Nano stereo cameras into new robot-learning platforms.
The collaboration targets synchronized, training-grade multi-view RGB-depth data collection for Physical AI, aiming to reduce calibration issues, motion blur and timing drift.
The systems use an onboard NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64 GB compute platform, supporting ROS 2 workflows, NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab.
Public demonstrations are planned in San Francisco at Trossen’s Physical AI Residency on Aug. 12-28, 2026, and the Actuate conference on Aug. 18-19.
