Stratasys targets 40% cut in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030
SSYS•Stratasys set a target to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 40% by 2030, alongside goals for water use, waste diversion and workplace safety. In 2025, combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions fell 6.2% and absolute water consumption declined 3.6%.
1. 2030 targets
Stratasys set its environmental targets in its fifth annual sustainability report. They include reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 40%, cutting water consumption 15% and diverting at least 55% of non-hazardous waste to reuse, recycling or energy recovery by 2030. Its safety target is a total recordable incident rate below 0.40.
2. 2025 results
In 2025, combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions fell 6.2%, while absolute water consumption declined 3.6%. Stratasys also said its first climate risk analysis was aligned with TCFD and that its greenhouse gas emissions data received independent limited assurance.
