Study Shows Eversense 365 Delivers 93% Wear Time, 66% TIR and 76% with AID
SENS•A real-world study of 12,360 Eversense 365 sensors and 153 twiist AID users showed 93.19% wear time, maintaining accuracy throughout both six-month periods. Open-loop users achieved mean GMI of 7.16% and 66.16% TIR with over 81% meeting hypoglycemic targets, and AID users recorded 76.08% TIR and 6.78% GMI.
1. Study Overview
The real-world dataset included the first 12,360 Eversense 365 sensors in open-loop regimens and 153 sensors in a twiist Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) system, tracked over a full year to assess adherence, accuracy, glucometrics and hypoglycemic outcomes.
2. Open-Loop Performance
Open-loop users recorded an average transmitter wear time of 93.19%, a mean Glucose Management Indicator (GMI) of 7.16% and Time In Range (TIR) of 66.16%, with over 81% of sensors achieving hypoglycemic targets across both six-month study periods, indicating stable accuracy and patient adherence.
3. AID Integration Results
Users pairing Eversense 365 with the twiist AID system for at least 30 days achieved a mean TIR of 76.08% and GMI of 6.78%, along with a median sensor wear time of 99.46%, placing performance at the top end of reported AID real-world ranges.
