Suncorp unit Vero has launched Australia’s first pay-per-kilometre rideshare comprehensive motor insurance with Uber and Cover Genius.
The single policy combines private-use cover with Uber driving cover, aiming to reduce coverage gaps for driver-partners.
Pricing uses a fixed private premium, then a variable rideshare premium based on kilometres driven on the Uber platform.
The product is sold digitally through the Uber Driver app, expanding Vero’s platform-distributed motor insurance offering.
