Sunoco to offer marine fuels in ARA, UK with local supplier collaboration
SUN•Sunoco expands bunker fuel offering with Verde Marine
LONDON, Aug 21 (Reuters) - Sunoco SUN.N will offer bunker fuels in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) hub and Britain from October through a commercial collaboration with local supplier Verde Marine, the companies said in a statement on Thursday.
- Sunoco and Verde aim to develop new markets and offer new products through their collaboration.
- Verde Marine, backed by shipping firm Vertom, will remain fully operational under its existing structure, it said.
- Sunoco supplies bunker fuels in some North American and Caribbean ports such as Miami, Tampa and Jamaica.
- Verde Marine supplies very low sulphur fuel oil and marine gasoil with four barges in ARA, according to its website.
