Sunway plans partnership with WeRide for autonomous bus trials in Malaysia
WRD•Sunway plans to buy and trial two WeRide electric autonomous buses on the BRT-Sunway Line, subject to conditional Transport Ministry approval.

Sunway plans to collaborate with WeRide on the proposed purchase and trial of two electric autonomous buses on the BRT-Sunway Line. The Transport Ministry has given conditional approval.
2. Other planned collaborations
Sunway also plans a partnership with Neolix to distribute autonomous logistics vehicles in Malaysia. Discussions with AutoFlight cover acquiring and testing an electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, with potential distribution rights; possible uses include logistics, emergency response and eventual passenger transport, subject to technical feasibility and regulatory approvals.
