Super Micro Computer co-founder Yih-Shyan Liaw, sales manager Ruei-Tsang Chang and contractor Ting-Wei Sun were indicted by the U.S. Justice Department for routing approximately $2.5 billion of Nvidia GPU-equipped servers through Taiwan to China in violation of export control laws.

2. Board Resignation and Compliance Leadership

Liaw resigned from the board effective immediately following the charges, and the company appointed DeAnna Luna as acting chief compliance officer; Luna previously served as vice president of global trade and sanctions compliance since 2024.

3. Share Price Volatility
