Supermicro Expands AI Portfolio with Servers Featuring NVIDIA Vera CPUs and RTX PRO 4500 GPUs
Supermicro’s new portfolio integrates NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPUs and NVIDIA Vera CPUs into 4U/5U, 1U/2U and edge servers supporting up to eight, six and four GPUs respectively at power levels as low as 165W. NVIDIA-Certified Systems ensure full software compatibility for AI inference, LLM fine-tuning and Gen AI workloads.
1. Portfolio Expansion
Supermicro has introduced new server systems featuring NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPUs and NVIDIA Vera CPUs across its Building Block Solutions architecture. The expanded lineup includes 4U/5U nodes supporting up to eight GPUs, 1U/2U servers supporting up to six GPUs, and compact edge systems with up to four GPUs at 165W per card.
2. Software and Compatibility
All systems are NVIDIA-Certified, ensuring full-stack compatibility with NVIDIA networking, AI Enterprise software and Omniverse libraries. These servers arrive application-ready to accelerate AI inference, LLM fine-tuning, virtualization and graphics workloads without requiring data center modifications.
3. Deployment Use Cases
Large-scale air-cooled environments can leverage 4U/5U configurations for maximum GPU density, while traditional data centers benefit from 1U/2U form factors that fit existing racks. Edge customers gain power- and space-optimized 1U/2U short-depth chassis for low-latency AI processing near data sources.
