Suzano-backed initiatives help 44,344 people rise above poverty line in 2025
SUZ•Suzano said its income-generation initiatives helped 44,344 people in Brazil rise above the poverty line in 2025. Since 2020, the cumulative total has reached 141,686, about 71% of its 2030 target of 200,000 people.
1. Poverty-reduction efforts
Suzano said it spent approximately R$20 million of its own resources on poverty-reduction projects in 2025, while mobilizing another R$60 million from partners. Participants in supported activities generated more than R$163 million in revenue during the year.
