Suzano’s board met Aug. 12, 2026, reshaping its executive leadership through resignations, elections, and a reallocation of senior responsibilities.
Aires Galhardo resigned as statutory EVP; Carlos Aníbal Fernandes de Almeida Júnior was elected to lead pulp operations, engineering, energy, supplies.
Finance, investor relations, DigitalTech roles were merged under Marcos Moreno Chagas Assumpção as statutory EVP for the combined portfolio.
The non-statutory executive team was reorganized, shifting Pablo Francisco Gimenez Machado to consumer goods, strategy; Walner Alves Cunha Júnior elected legal, tax.
