Swarmer agrees to acquire certain intellectual property from Vataga Drone
SWMR•Swarmer signed an agreement to acquire certain hardware and software intellectual property from Ukrainian drone maker Vataga Drone for cash and equity. After closing, Vataga CEO Maksym Melnyk and 14 hardware R&D team members will join Swarmer, while Vataga remains an independent manufacturer.

Swarmer agreed to acquire certain hardware and software intellectual property from Vataga Drone for cash and equity. Following closing, Vataga CEO Maksym Melnyk and 14 hardware R&D team members will join Swarmer; Melnyk will become vice president of hardware, and Vataga will remain an independent manufacturing company. The acquisition aims to expand Swarmer’s full-stack drone capabilities and scale deployment of swarming-enabled FPV drones and interceptors.
