Synopsys expanded its collaboration with NVIDIA to build autonomous, long-running “agentic AI” workflows across chip design verification and thermal simulation.
The companies are using NVIDIA Nemotron models, Agent Toolkit, CUDA-X libraries, accelerated computing, and the OpenShell runtime to power the workflows.
Design-verification agent targets faster RTL validation
Synopsys demonstrated an autonomous design-verification agent targeting up to 50X faster time-to-validated RTL with a 20% coverage improvement.
Availability is planned for the second half of 2026, with customers already evaluating the agentic EDA and CAE capabilities.
