Synopsys rises as FY27 outlook tops estimates
SNPS•Synopsys expects fiscal 2027 revenue of $11.10 billion-$11.20 billion and adjusted EPS of $19.04-$19.12, above analyst forecasts of $10.81 billion and $17.81. The company also plans to repurchase roughly $1 billion of stock over the coming months.

Synopsys issued a fiscal 2027 outlook above analyst estimates and plans to buy back roughly $1 billion of stock over the coming months. The company also recently struck a revenue-sharing deal with OpenAI to develop an AI model for the chip business, while Amazon's AWS signed a multi-year licensing deal worth more than $1 billion for Synopsys chip-design intellectual property.
