T-Mobile US has announced an expanded collaboration with Netcracker Technology to migrate its digital BSS/OSS platform to a cloud-native environment. The initiative leverages years of prior joint work between T-Mobile Wholesale and Netcracker, aiming to reduce service launch cycles from several months to just weeks. By embedding robust security and privacy protections, the cloud platform is designed to boost scalability and flexibility for wholesale partners, enabling faster onboarding, simplified operations and accelerated monetization of new offerings.

T-Mobile’s wholly-owned subsidiary has filed to sell $1.15 billion of 5.000% senior notes due 2036 and $850 million of 5.850% senior notes due 2056 in a registered public offering. Net proceeds will be used primarily to refinance existing debt, extending T-Mobile’s debt maturity profile by approximately 10 to 30 years and locking in fixed interest rates to manage future interest expenses.

Investors should note that the cloud migration is expected to unlock new revenue streams within T-Mobile’s wholesale segment by reducing operational friction and enabling digital-first business models. The debt refinancing transaction improves the company’s capital structure, potentially lowering annual interest costs by an estimated $40 million at current market spreads. T-Mobile is scheduled to report fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results on February 11, 2026, a key date for assessing early returns on both the cloud investment and the refinancing strategy.
