Takeda flagged late-breaking Phase 3 data for arcotatug tavatecan (TAK-921) for presentation at ESMO 2026 on Oct. 23.
The study in previously treated advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer showed outcomes that could support a Japan regulatory filing.
Two additional ESMO 2026 presentations will outline updated findings for TAK-928 in immunotherapy-resistant NSCLC and in first-line NSCLC.
A global Phase 3 trial, MarsLight-11, is enrolling to test TAK-928 against docetaxel in progressed squamous NSCLC. The trial will be expanded to add a sub-study in non-squamous NSCLC, broadening the program’s commercial addressable population.
