In June, TNGX said its drug vopimetostat, when tested in combination with Revolution Medicines' (RVMD.O) daraxonrasib, shrank tumors in 11 of 12 patients with a type of pancreatic cancer that was previously treated.
Including session's moves, the stock has more than tripled year to date.
Shares fall after quarterly loss tops estimates
Shares of drug developer Tango Therapeutics (TNGX.O) fall 3.3% to $26.75.
The company reported a second-quarter loss of 37 cents per share, compared with analysts' average loss estimate of 31 cents per share, according to LSEG data.
TNGX reported no collaboration revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2026, citing the end of partnership and research activities with Gilead (GILD.O).
It had recorded collaboration revenue of $3.2 million for the same period in 2025.
