2. Houston Receive Center Opens
Target invested $265 million to build a 1.2 million-sq-ft receive center in Houston that holds imported goods until needed downstream. The facility supplies six regional distribution centers, reducing transit distances and ensuring timely replenishment of seasonal, bulky or hard-to-forecast items.
