BHST•Tate & Lyle and BioHarvest Sciences reached a milestone in a next-generation sweetener development program, with BioHarvest’s Botanical Synthesis platform producing the targeted sweetening solution. Development continues in line with expectations.

The companies said BioHarvest’s Botanical Synthesis platform can produce the targeted sweetening solution. The project builds on an expanded collaboration announced in May 2026 and aims to broaden sweetener options for sugar and calorie reduction.
