TC Energy outlines sanctioned NGTL expansion projects
TC Energy outlined more than $1 billion of sanctioned NGTL projects to expand capacity on its Alberta natural gas transmission system.
The company cited “generational” demand driven by power load growth, industrial development, and LNG exports; demand is rising faster than infrastructure buildout.
TC Energy said it has invested more than $15 billion in Alberta natural gas transmission expansion over the past decade.
It said NGTL transports over 75% of Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin natural gas production through a 24,000-kilometer pipeline network.
