Telefónica partners with NOS to develop defense and security technologies in Europe
TEF•Telefónica signed a partnership with Portugal’s NOS Comunicações to develop secure connectivity and digital services for European defense and security applications.
1. Partnership scope
The agreement covers network interoperability, advanced 5G and AI, including integration with command-and-control systems. The operators integrated their 5G capabilities during REPMUS 26 to demonstrate combined telecommunications infrastructure for operational applications.
