Shares of drug developer Tenax Therapeutics (TENX.O) fell 83.9% to $2.16 premarket after the company's experimental heart drug failed to meet the main goal of a late-stage study.
Tenax was testing TNX-103 in patients with pulmonary hypertension associated with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, or HFpEF.
Up to the last close, the stock was up 10.3% year to date.
