U.S. same-store sales climbed 4.0%, marking the end of an eight-quarter slump, while international comparable sales also advanced, led by strong growth in China and the Americas. Management highlighted that digital orders now represent over 25% of all transactions, and average weekly transactions in the company’s loyalty program surged by 12%, underscoring the success of its digital engagement initiatives. Looking ahead, Starbucks is targeting operating margin expansion through optimized labor scheduling and menu simplification, with guidance for full-year earnings per share of $2.15–$2.40.
