Tesla reported 480,126 vehicle deliveries in the second quarter, beating the average forecast of 396,466 units by 21%. Deliveries rose 25% versus a year earlier, driven by stronger output at Gigafactories and streamlined logistics across North America and Asia.
The automaker unveiled plans to spend more than $25 billion in 2026, roughly triple last year’s outlay, to expand manufacturing and R&D. Major investments will target new production lines for Optimus humanoid robots and Cybercab autonomous taxis to boost future revenue streams.
