Tesla’s Full Self-Driving system has logged over 8.2 billion miles, delivering 7x fewer major collisions, 5x fewer off-highway crashes and 5.3 million miles driven per crash in North America. Tesla’s Robotaxi fleet recorded 14 crashes since mid-2025, including five in January, while the company dropped Autopilot marketing to avoid a California suspension.

Tesla reported its Supervised Full Self-Driving system has driven over 8.2 billion miles, including more than 3 billion miles in city environments. The automaker highlighted a 7x reduction in major collisions, a 5x reduction in off-highway crashes and an average of 5.3 million miles driven per crash in North America.

Tesla’s Robotaxi service has experienced 14 recorded collisions since its mid-2025 launch, including five incidents in January. These events have fueled investor comments suggesting the need for hardware upgrades to enhance autonomous driving safety.

Tesla avoided a 30-day manufacturing and sales suspension in California by removing the Autopilot term from its marketing. The company also revealed a production-ready Cybercab priced at $30,000, targeting an April production ramp-up.
